My father held season tickets from 1955 until the last game in 1994. I began going with him in the late '60s, and we lived and died together with them through the George Allen, Tommy Prothro, Chuck Knox and Ray Malavasi years. Besides yourself, other #21s we loved to watch were Eddie Meador and John Hadl.

When Georgia took the team to Missouri, we were left with not even a "thank you" for 39 years of loyalty. I know it's more convenient for you to have them in St. Louis, but I always felt they should have left the team name in Southern California, a la the Cleveland Browns and Seattle Supersonics. I have never felt the "St. Louis Rams" were the same team of Gabriel, Olsen, Deacon Jones, yourself, Jack Youngblood, et al.

Come back, Rams. All is forgiven!

Thanks for allowing me this forum,

DonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
